HOW THE PRODUCTION WORKS.
STEP 1
Donors deposit cardboard into set-up collection points across Sydney carparks. All pieces are sorted to confirm that the cardboard is clean and dry.
STEP 2
Donors retrieve a QR code (labelled on the collection bins) that directs them to the website’s registration page, where, by registering, they can vote on which rural Cambodian primary school they’d like their donation to support.
STEP 3
The cardboard is transported to our designated manufacturing facility, where every cardboard box is cleaned, flattened, and stored until production begins.
STEP 4
Before production, every piece is run through quality evaluation, ensuring no pieces are damged or unsuitable. If rejected, pieces are recycled into new pulp products.
STEP 5
Quality cardboard, using the CNC, is cut, pressed, and assembled into flatpack school furniture.
STEP 6
Once finished, the ready furniture is packed and transported by Cargo ships to Cambodia, where it is delivered to the schools and received by local teachers, ultimately ready for use.
